Upgrade your agent
Buying the Starter Pack gets you every future version at no extra cost. When new skills ship and existing ones improve, you download the latest pack and your agent upgrades itself. It backs up your files first, works out exactly what's changed, and applies only the pieces you choose — so your own notes, memory, and customizations stay yours.
Before you start
An upgrade edits real files. Setting up Git first is highly recommended, so every change is recorded and easy to undo — see See changes with Git. The updater will offer to back up your agent files for you either way, but Git makes rolling back a single step.
Get the latest download
Your purchase gives you access to every version. Grab the newest one from where you bought it.
Log into Gumroad
Sign in to Gumroad with the same email you purchased with. Your library is tied to that email, so using the same one is what unlocks the pack you already own.
Download the latest version of the Starter Pack
Open the Divergent Starter Pack in your library and download the zip. It's always the newest release, and it's free — you already paid once. Leave the file zipped, just like the first time you installed. Your agent reads the zip directly.
Upgrade your agent
Hand the new pack to the agent you already have, and it walks the rest itself.
Drag the zip into a new chat with your agent
Open a fresh conversation in your agent's home folder and drag the downloaded zip in (the same way you attached it when you first installed). That's all you need open.

Let the updater walk you through it
The updater takes it from here, one step at a time:
- Backs up your agent files before touching anything. Using Git is highly recommended so a bad upgrade is one command to undo.
- Analyzes what needs upgrading by comparing the new pack against your current setup, so it only changes what actually moved.
- Applies just the upgrades you choose. You decide what to take, so nothing overwrites your notes, memory, or customizations without your say-so.
Your data stays yours
Upgrading brings in the newest skills and fixes — it doesn't wipe your workspace. Your knowledge base, memory, and anything you've personalized carry straight over. The updater only ever touches what you approve.
